1. How long does BIOHEAT cooking gel burn?

• 100ml burns for +- 35min with regulator set on maximum.

2. Is BIOHEAT cooking gel safe?

• Yes, BIOHEAT cooking gel is very safe,
(i) Due to its thickness, it doesn’t “run” and therefore if stove falls over flames are contained in one place.
(ii) Due to its thickness and unpleasant taste, it’s undrinkable and therefore not easy for children to swallow.
(iii) If ingested effects are not fatal, but must consult a Doctor.

3. Does BIOHEAT cooking gel smell?

• BIOHEAT cooking gel has no unpleasant odours and will not change the smell the food that is being prepared.

4. Does BIOHEAT cooking gel release black smoke?

• None whatsoever, if your gel releases black smoke, “IT’S NOT BIOHEAT”! Instead BIOHEAT cooking gel releases CLEAN BLUE FLAME. “CLEAN POTS GURANTEED”.

5. Can I cook meals like Samp and Beans with BIOHEAT cooking gel?

6. How long does BIOHEAT lamp oil last?

• 200ml burns for +-50hrs

7. What happens if BIOHEAT oil lamp falls over accidentally?

• The lamp itself is made out of plastic, therefore it wont break and if its falls over it will go off.

8. Can BIOHEAT lamp oil be used in a paraffin lamp?

• Yes, just ensure that your paraffin lamp is cleansed thoroughly to prevent odour.

A. Precautions!!

12. DO NOT pour cooking gel on open flame, IT’S VERY DANGEROUS.

13. If there’s a remainder of gel in the stove, keep the stove on “off” position when not in use, to PREVENT EVAPORATION.

14. Replace the lid of the cooking gel at all times, TO PREVENT EVAPORATION.

B. Tips for maximum effectiveness on BIOHEAT products

• Place the unused gel into a sealed container after day’s cooking.
• Clean the stove everyday after finishing day’s cooking.
• Try to FILL UP the STOVE GEL CONTAINER with gel when cooking at all times, for maximum effectiveness.
• Use BIOHEAT cooking gel as a starter for a braai instead of a fire lighter.
